Friday Favorites- A&E Favorites

American Eagle really does it every time... no matter the age, I have always loved their clothing. The quality + inexpensive prices are great. A&E is an awesome store when you need to casual go-to pieces. You can always count on them to have cute tees, tons of different style shorts, and comfy sandals.

The plain tees are my favorite- super soft and comfortable for the million degree Florida weather. There are so many different styles and colors-- and right now they're buy one, get one 50%. I love the look of a white tee because you can dress it up or pair it with anything.

And I am loving all of the woven & denim shorts, especially the dark cuffed short, knock-out pink woven short and the light denim destroyed short. I want all of these in my closet, now.

I have been looking around everywhere for some light-weight scarves that could be worn in the dreadfully hot weather, so I was super excited when I saw these three {floral, dot & watercolor ikat}. I am loving bright colors of the floral one, but my ultimate fav is the light colored ikat scarf. They are all perfect for Spring.

Happy Friday & Happy Shopping Everyone !!

Lovely & Oh-So-Pinteresting-- Kitchens

Thanks to Pinterest, I have my dream kitchen for our next house planned out, with every little detail pinned & written down in my notebook (call me crazy, I don't care!).

One of my must haves for my future kitchen is white/cream cabinets. I love every single thing about them-- I am sure it won't be too practical with a messy husband and {our future} kids, but I can overlook practicality.

I also want a massively huge island with plenty of chairs that can go around it. I can just envision my future-- me cooking breakfast for my husband and {hopefully} two beautiful babies, as they sit around the island.

Something that will also be a must have is 90489048109 cabinets & a walk-in pantry. I love to shop for kitchen goodies & like organization, so it only makes sense that these would be a definite.

And last but not least-- I would love to have a beautifully colored back splash, that sparkles in the light coming from some gorgeous lighting.

Dream kitchens...

And if I was to branch out to colored cabinets, I would definitely be going for one of these looks. They all look so amazing and the white counter tops POP, which I love

So what kind of must have things do you have to have when it comes to your dream kitchen

Zoo with Mom

Last week, my mom and I had a day off together, so we decided to go to the Jacksonville Zoo. Neither one of us had been in years & the weather here in Florida was too pretty to not go outside somewhere. We also just got new cameras recently & were super excited to use them on some cute animals.

This sweet little zebra looked so sad... It truly broke my heart.

Can you spot the little baby?
She was too cute- followed around her momma & played with her brother cub (not pictured).
King of the Jungle !!

Pink beauty just bathing away...

Sweet little birdie-- I was so close to him & he wasn't scared at all.
This my friend-- scared to crap out of me. We were in the bird sanctuary so that's all I thought was in there, until the human-sized gerbil thing ran right by me. Seems that he was more afraid of me, than I was of him. Little guy went hiding in the bushes.

I had such a great time snapping pictures of all these amazing animals. And even better, I got to spend some quality time with my mom.
I truly wish that the weather in Florida would stay in the high 60's, like it was the day we went to the zoo-- I enjoyed it & it sure seems like the animals did too.

So what are your favorite zoos that you've visited?

Friday Favorites- Living Room

I am glad that it is Friday & that is for sure... there have been all sorts of nasty colds going around the office this week & all the multivitamins, vitamin C drops, & Clorox wipes in the world did not shield me from the cold. After a few days with the cold, I am feeling a little better...

Anyways, forget about colds, lets talk about some of my living room favs. The majority of our house is pretty much decorated-- but we have this dreadful, empty wall in our living room, that has truly stumped me.

Here are some of my ideas for sprucing up the blah, empty wall...

So if you know me, then you know I am literally obsessed with pillows !! I love West Elm for pillows & that are ALL on sale right now-- it was like they knew I needed a few more. Ha! So I will just add more & more pillows to the couch, that my husband is not allowed to touch (he will be just thrilled!).

Target is my go-to for frames & lately they have been having some awesome sales, so I plan on snagging these four frames. I will stick to black & white photos & probably add a jandpaper print in them. I am considering maybe even adding a cardboard deer head with the frames too, but I am undecided.

And no room, in any house, can have enough baskets. I love baskets so much! Home Goods has so many inexpensive baskets-- I have been keeping an eye out for a big one.

So what makes your living room cozy & full?

Lovely And Oh-So-Pinteresting-- Fun Destinations

The great thing about Pinterest is that you can pin all of these destinations that you would love to visit; & while pinning there is not a thought in the world about costs. With each and every pin, you say to yourself-- oh that will be so much fun when I go there! When in reality, you would probably need to hit the lottery to visit the majority of the places.
So lets pretend that I am a jet setting, millionaire with no responsibilities; and I could travel all around the world. These are just a few places I would visit...

Neal's Yard, London, England
Capo Vaticano, Italy
Glencoe, Scotland
Transparent Lake, Montana
Iceland
Amalfi Coast, Italy
Glacier Bay, Alaska
Chambley, France
Knysna Lagoon, South Africa

So if you were a carefree millionaire, like me ;), where would you like to travel to ???

Weekend Recap

Again, the weekend flew by too fast; luckily I have a company holiday today. Thank goodness because I am not feeling too great today-- hoping it isn't some type of cold.

This weekend was a pretty good weekend. For Valentine's day my husband got me some beautiful earrings and my favorite flowers, ever! We wanted to avoid the restaurant crowds, so we got something to-go & ate at home.

On Sunday, we woke up super early & decided to take a ride. Our 1st stop was at Guana River State Park-- it was super cold, quiet, & so beautiful!

The water was so yellow because of all the pollen...

Our 2nd stop Vilano Beach-- my husband has so many childhood memories there, so he wanted to drive through & see all the changes.

Our 3rd stop was at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm. My husband & I hadn't been in years-- it was good weather & early in the afternoon, so I thought it would be an awesome time to go. We definitely had a good time...

It was really such a nice weekend having my husband home & not working. We definitely wanted to soak up all the nice, cool, breezy weather here in Florida.
It is times like this that truly remind me that even though the work week & life can be stressful, life is truly a blessing and I am so thankful for everything I have in life (stressful or not).

Hope you all had a good weekend !!
